Born and educated in India, Ravi started his career in 1998 as an embedded software engineer at British Aerospace and Hindustan Aeronautics, Ltd. He later worked in the development of avionics software for Airbus in France.

Ravi relocated to the United States in 2001 to work with a research firm at Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center, where he became involved in the development and launch of UWorld, a worldwide leader in online learning to prepare for high-stakes exams. Ravi has been instrumental in the development of myclassboard.com, a robust online ERP system used by thousands of schools and institutions.

Ravi graduated from Andhra University in Electronics and Communications Engineering.
