Jakkampudi Adiseshayya Chowdary (JA Chowdary) is a distinguished serial entrepreneur, mentor, and investor. He began his career as a scientist at ISRO, contributing to the Rohini and Aryabhatta satellites. At BHEL R&D, he developed online pollution monitoring systems, earning a Meritorious Invention Award.
As the founding director of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), he established vibrant IT ecosystems in Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Chennai, significantly boosting India’s software export industry. He played a pivotal role in the development of Hitec City and Cyberabad.
JA co-founded Portalplayer, which developed the core chip for Apple’s iPod, later acquired by NVIDIA, where he served as MD for India. He founded Talentsprint, an EdTech startup acquired by the National Stock Exchange of India.
He advised the Andhra Pradesh government on IT and fintech initiatives, helping establish Fintech Valley Vizag. He also contributed to the founding of IIIT Hyderabad and IIDT Tirupati.
Currently, he co-manages Succeed Indovation Fund and co-chairs the India Blockchain Technology Standards Committee. JA will be advising Qylis in building a value delivering company with his vast experience.
